Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement compelling product value propositions across key market segments under the guidance of the OC&A Director or Senior Director.
  • Assist in creating and driving launch access strategies to secure and maintain access, reimbursement, and affordability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather market insights from patients, providers, and payers, informing comprehensive market access strategies.
  • Lead the development of field resources, programs, and tactics to implement market access strategies.
  • Support account management teams in customer strategy, planning, and execution, including training and promotional tools/resources.
  • Ensure alignment of strategy with sales organization to drive product demand.
  • Manage agency relationships to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of promotional programs.
  • Develop and manage budgets in compliance with AstraZeneca finance and accounting requirements.
  • Conduct all company business in accordance with regulations and company policies.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Proven years of progressive experience within the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical market including payer marketing, brand marketing, market research, account management, and/or field sales.
  • Strong or emerging understanding of the U.S. market access landscape and the legal/regulatory environment for pharmaceuticals/biopharmaceuticals.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into tactical implementation.
  • Teamwork and leadership skills, including the ability to gain consensus and act within ambiguous, complex matrix organization.
  • Results oriented with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Thorough understanding of customer and industry marketing practices and trends.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 20%).

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Relevant Advanced Degree, e.g., MBA, MPH, PharmD, PhD, etc.
  • Experience developing and executing strategy.
  • Experience in oncology and/or managed care/payer experience.
  • Experience in oncology buy-and-bill.
